At OutsideClinic, we're not just a company; we're a family of passionate individuals committed to making a real difference in the lives of our patients. Today, we're proud to introduce you to one of our esteemed family members, Jim Bass, who is celebrating an incredible 18 years with us. Jim's journey has been nothing short of remarkable, and we're excited to share his story with you.
Eighteen years ago, Jim joined OutsideClinic, embarking on a journey filled with challenges and opportunities. His dedication to our mission of improving the lives of vulnerable individuals through vision and hearing care has left a mark on our organisation. In his current role as Regional Support Team Manager, Jim's leadership and expertise are pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our services. His guidance and dedication have significantly enhanced our service quality and efficiency.
Jim has witnessed numerous milestones and changes during his tenure with OutsideClinic. He has worked in various offices as the company expanded, played a key role in the establishment of our Professional Services and Clinical Services departments, and witnessed the birth and growth of our Audiology team.
But for Jim, his current role feels tailor made to him. He loves the feeling of making a difference, not only to patients in need of eye and hearing care but also to his team through support, guidance, and training. He is proud to have developed friendships and great partnerships along his journey.
A rewarding role
With unwavering support and invaluable guidance, Jim has charted a remarkable path to where he stands today. Along this journey, he carries no major regrets, thanks in large part to the profound influence of colleagues like Philippa Harwood-Little and Tony Walsh. Their contributions have played a substantial role in shaping his professional growth and development.
Jim describes his 18-year journey with OutsideClinic as challenging, but ultimately, it's the most rewarding job in optics. His unwavering dedication, resilience, and passion for the mission have made an enduring impact on OutsideClinic and the countless lives we touch. As we celebrate his remarkable journey, we also look forward to the bright future ahead for all OutsideClinic colleagues.
At OutsideClinic, we're proud to celebrate Jim's remarkable journey and extend an invitation to those who wish to embark on a similar path. Join our team, embrace change, and make your mark in the world of domiciliary eye care.
