Celebrating Mike Riordan: Two Years of Service at OutsideClinic
In the spirit of acknowledging the milestones, both big and small, we are thrilled to highlight Mike Riordan's remarkable journey with OutsideClinic. Mike, our dedicated Optometric Induction Lead Trainer, is celebrating his two-year anniversary with the company, marking his return to our team.
Reflecting on his second stint with OutsideClinic, Mike shares, "It's been an absolute pleasure to be back. I've found immense satisfaction in the company culture, the strong sense of teamwork, and the support available. The transformation since my last journey with OutsideClinic is incredible, with a new head office, expanded teams, and the introduction of electric cars. It's truly inspiring to witness OutsideClinic's impressive growth."
Over the course of two years, Mike has found his role to be profoundly fulfilling. He emphasises the importance of feeling heard and valued, and cherishes the opportunity to actively contribute to ongoing improvements. However, the most rewarding aspect of his position is witnessing optometrists thrive under his guidance. "Observing a new optometrist, initially fraught with nerves, grow into his domiciliary role and develop into a Joint Venture Partner with their own business is an immensely rewarding experience," Mike shares.
In his role as Optometric Induction Lead Trainer, Mike plays a pivotal role in assisting new optometrists as they embark on their journeys with OutsideClinic. His responsibilities include facilitating a seamless onboarding process and providing essential induction training. Mike has contributed to the significant improvements to the induction process, which now includes more extensive training sessions designed to ensure that new optometrists are thoroughly prepared and confident as they begin their careers with us. The transformation of optometrists, new to domiciliary into confident and successful professionals through our induction programme is a remarkable achievement that deeply resonates with Mike.
Mikes role have evolved significantly during his two years of dedicated service. He now leads the OutsideClinic online training programme and actively participates in various projects, allowing him the opportunity to acquire new skills and expertise.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Mike on this exceptional two-year milestone. His contributions and achievements serve as a testament to the dedication and excellence that make OutsideClinic a thriving and innovative organisation.
