A Journey of Resilience and Excellence: Celebrating a Three-Year Milestone at OutsideClinic
This month, we're thrilled to spotlight the remarkable journey of our esteemed colleague, Hayley Gotheridge, an Audiologist at OutsideClinic. Hayley's story is not just about her three-year anniversary with us, but a tale of resilience, personal growth, and unwavering commitment to her profession.
After a decade of experience in High Street Audiology Retail, Hayley sought a fresh challenge. She found her calling at OutsideClinic, a place that offered her the opportunity to grow, innovate, and make a real difference in patients' lives.
Hayley's journey with us is a testament to her tenacity. Despite a brief hiatus due to health reasons, she returned in 2020, stronger and more determined. Her achievements since then have been nothing short of extraordinary.
From overcoming personal hurdles to receiving a certificate of recognition from Audiology Director, Steve Witts, at the Chester conference for consistently excellent patient reviews, Hayley's milestones are a source of inspiration for us all. Her commitment to personal development is evident in her completion of the Tasting Colours online course, passing her Advanced Driving test, and her ongoing Sign Language course.
What makes Hayley's journey truly special is the joy she finds in her work. The satisfaction of seeing a patient's smile after fitting aids, a heartfelt 'thank you', or positive written feedback is what fuels her passion for audiology.
At OutsideClinic, we're proud to foster an environment that supports individual growth and respects diverse perspectives. Despite the challenges Hayley faces due to being on the Autistic spectrum and having a moderate to severe sensory neural hearing loss, she feels respected and accepted for her strengths. We believe in empowering our team members, giving them the time and support they need to excel in their roles.
Hayley's advice to new employees is a reflection of our culture: "Don't be afraid to express your own concerns, difficulties, or opinions. Talk and ask for help if you need it, no-one will bite." At OutsideClinic, every voice matters, and every opinion is valued.
Hayley's dedication and passion for her role have not gone unnoticed. She was awarded a certificate by OutsideClinic's Audiology Director, Steve Witts, at the Chester conference in November 2022 for her continuous high level of service, a testament to her commitment to excellence.
When she's not transforming lives through audiology, Hayley is an avid Crown Green Bowls player and a passionate dancer. She and her husband enjoy Ballroom and Latin American dances, with the Jive, Paso Doble, and Cha Cha Cha being their favorites. They're currently learning Salsa for their upcoming trip to St Lucia in February. And if you're a fan of Strictly Come Dancing, you might find Hayley's critiques quite insightful!
Hayley's journey is a shining example of what it means to be part of the OutsideClinic team. We are proud to celebrate her three-year anniversary with us and look forward to many more years of her exceptional service.
