Job Title: Locum Hearing Aid Dispenser
Reporting to: Regional Manager
Day Rate: Circa £275 per day + mileage
Location: North London & covering surrounding areas
Days: Weekdays only, no weekends

Summary
We are looking for experienced Hearing Aid Dispensers (HCPC-registered) to join us on a locum basis. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality audiology care to patients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring they receive the best possible hearing support.

We provide full support, including training at Head Office for equipment, systems, and kit issue.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily schedule of 4–5 adult patients with hearing loss in their own homes.

• Conduct Pure Tone Audiometry (including masking) and additional relevant audiological assessments.

• Take aural impressions, select and fit appropriate hearing instruments.

• Provide structured aftercare programmes and patient support.

• Use Real Ear Measurement equipment to validate and verify fittings.

• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.

• Provide wax removal where required (training available).

Requirements

• Current HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser.

• UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle (essential for home visits).

• Effective communicator, organised, and able to work independently.

• Confident covering your allocated region with 4–5 patient visits per day.

• Comfortable using digital systems and clinical equipment.
