Job Title: Local Community Ambassador
Salary: Hourly pay plus a small additional payment for successful introductions
Hours: Zero hours
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Expenses: Mileage expenses paid at an agreed rate

OutsideClinic was founded in 1987 and now provides over 100,000 at home eye tests and 10,000 at home hearing tests each year. The business has revenues of £40m and employs 300 people. The business provides services to the 75+ age group, that find it challenging to visit the high street.
Job Summary
The Local Community Ambassador plays an important role in raising awareness of OutsideClinic’s expert audiology and optical services within their local community.
Acting as a trusted and independent local presence, you will build relationships and open doors to organisations and individuals who may benefit from our services. This role is focused on visibility, trust and warm introductions.
Success in this role comes from meaningful conversations, strong local relationships and helping people understand the care and support available to them in their own homes.
What to role involves
This is a flexible, zero hours role that fits around your availability. Typical activities may include:
Proactively reaching out to organisations and groups in your local area, typically within around a 30 mile radius of your home
Introducing OutsideClinic’s audiology and optical services through friendly, professional conversations
Building relationships with independent opticians, pharmacies, community groups, charities, independent and assisted living schemes and similar organisations
Attending local events, coffee mornings or community gatherings if you are comfortable doing so
Leaving information leaflets where appropriate
Making warm introductions to OutsideClinic when interest is shown
Logging activity and introductions in a simple, supported way

As a Local Community Ambassador, you will be expected to represent OutsideClinic responsibly and professionally at all times, acting in a way that reflects our values and commitment to high quality care.
Right to work checks and a DBS check will be required.
